Episode 22: Conversation with Frances Glosson

In this episode of On the Health Record, we spoke with Frances Glosson, a healthcare veteran whose career spans from nursing assistant all the way to hospital administrator. She also happens to be Oleg's aunt!  We've been looking forward to this episode for a long time. Aunt Franny has a unique understanding of what it takes to make a hospital function efficiently. We discuss her experience in optimizing operations at the hospitals she's worked with, and she shares some insight into the ways that leadership styles have changed over the years. Frances also enlightened us on Personality Trait Theory, a topic which she's written a dissertation on, and how understanding human dynamics can translate into more effective systems in workplace settings. We even touch on the changes in EHRs over the years along the way!
