In this episode, I run through how our star Super Eagles players fared as the Premier League, Bundesliga & La Liga leagues all kicked off this past weekend with Emmanuel Dennis, Peter Etebo & Frank Onyeka all having very impressive debuts in England while Taiwo Awoniyi kicked off the season with a goal too! Terem Moffi scored his 1st goal of the season in Ligue 1 as Lorient continued their impressive start to the season while Moses Simon continued his impressive form registering 2 assists and running the show for Nantes as they won 2-0 at home to Metz. In Italy, both Ola Aina (Torino) and Tyronne Ebuehi(Venezia) scored the winning penalties for their club sides in the 1st round of the Coppa Italia over the weekend & Serie A kicks off this weekend while Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa scored on his debut for his Turkish club side Fatih Karagümrük as they won 3-2 on the opening weekend of the league season The Africa Cup of Nations draw will be taking place later today & Nigeria have been seeded as one of the top 5 teams alongside the hosts Cameroon & we’ll do a follow up podcast on our opponents later this week!
