Episode 22: International Impact

Send us Fan Mail Being from Uganda, Celina was able to see first-hand the disparities and lack of resources that are impacting African countries all throughout the continent. On top of that, with knowing everything about the government in Africa, she was able to see that it isn't designed to benefit its citizens. With the help of some connections in Uganda, Celina was able to take matters into her own hands and start a non-profit organization, The Working Woman Foundation. This organization took responsibility for reducing the poverty level in Africa all through the women, especially the youth by teaching them an array of life skills from working on the land to self-defense. Celina currently resides in Texas but that has not stopped her from staying in constant contact with the members in Uganda and even working on expansion to Nigeria and other countries.
