Keith and Tommy sit down with accomplished musician, engineer and member of one of our favorites bands Gates: Kevin Dye. We discuss Kevin's early days in Michigan, his move to New York, working at Levon Helm's studio and the chance Kevin took sending Gates a demo to try out as their front man. We also discuss the beginning of Gates, the writing of their first LP, the stories behind some of their most iconic songs, Kevin's cancer diagnosis and his journey to recovery. Lastly we cover band fashion do's and dont's, Korn, Radiohead and a whole lot more! We also check with in with friend of the show Josh Brigham of Hopesfall to discuss Hum's first LP in 22 years: INLET and much to Keith's dismay we end up talking about math... again.
