Episode 22 Unhappy Tales and Trails from Oregon

Jeanette digs into the story of Oregon's second largest wartime city, and it's tragic demise in 1948 through flood.  Temporary housing, hastily created for African-American workers was swept away in a matter of minutes, when the town flooded, as many of their Portland neighbors looked the other way.   In part 2, we go a little lighter with the origin of the Original "Oregon Trail" Game.
