To kick off the month of June I talk to the fascinating Amy Green, as she bravely talks about her medical journey from all aspects, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. We start the story at the night of Amy's senior prom, when she first discovered her illness, but like many, thought her symptoms would clear up after a couple of days - unfortunately this was not the case. Join us as we talk through life's ups and downs through Amy's eyes, as we discuss the often unspoken mental and emotional toll that surgery can take on a person, as well as how Amy learned to find herself again and find light at the end of a very dark tunnel, to become the inspirationally uplifting person she is today.
