Remembrance Day is once again upon us. For many veterans, myself included, this day is one rife with complexity and nuance. For me, over the years and in the course of therapy, I have found that the best way for me to navigate the day and lead up to it, is to truly feel, accept and acknowledge what it is that I am feeling. As attempting to thwart emotion is a fruitless endeavour. So, I write. Shocking, I know…This episode tells of three men whom I had the privilege of getting to know over my time in the army.
