Episode 224 - Renegades, Firenado, Mega Lightning, Wrath of Van Helsing, Interview with Tom Jolliffe - Keaton’s Cop

In this special episode we look at four recent films, all scripted by friend of the show Tom Jolliffe! We kick off with RENEGADES (101 Films), a London-set crime thriller which boasts an incredible cast! Next is FIRENADO (Uncork'd Entertainment), a film which mixes a standard disaster movie plot with a home-invasion. Also mixing genres is MEGA LIGHTNING (ITN), which adds a serial killer to its natural disaster plotline. We round off with WRATH OF VAN HELSING (ITN), a low budget action-horror set within a deserted bunker. We then have a chat with Tom about making Renegades and some of his other films, and Tom talks about his recent short film, Estranged, which is still on the festival circuit and not available to share, just yet.   Our DTV Throwback, in keeping with the episode's theme is KEATON'S COP, starring Lee Majors as a cop who has to team up with a mobster in order to protect him from assassins.
