Episode 229 - Tommy T's Story

Last week I received news that a friend of mine, a guest on this podcast, Stephen T, had passed away as a result of this disease. His brother Tommy is here today to tell his own story, and to share about the impact Stephen had on his life before, and after his death. Loss is an all to regular thing in recovery circles, I feel the stories need to be told, because THAT IS THE PRICE we pay when we lose to this disease. It requires a constant vigilance, it seems that even with working a “good program“, this disease can find a crack in the armor, even for just a second, and take your life. Thank you all for allowing me to participate in my recovery in this manner today.
