We lead with the news that the Video Game Entertainment and New Network (VENN) raised US$17 million in seed round funding to launch a 24/7 network dedicated to esports and gaming entertainment. Rugby Australia does a partnership with Amazon where fans can use Alexa to get exclusive content, live commentary and more for the 2019 Rugby World Cup. The fourth edition of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Sports Survey came out through the week and we discuss some of the highlights of it.
