Episode 23: How I Accidentally Became A Dental Marketing Expert

In this personal episode, Kyle tells the story of how he accidentally became a dental marketing expert. Starting as a fresh(ish) college graduate originally from Brewster, Kansas (population 120!) at a large New York ad agency in 2012, Kyle was assigned to dental practices in the South because of his "accent." While other account managers tried to impress practice owners with big city sophistication, Kyle's authentic, small-town approach became his secret weapon. He led the floor in partnerships and retention every quarter before moving to Indiana to start Alpha Dog Agency. Kyle explains why he fell in love with dental marketing, the high stakes and lifetime value of each new patient and how an unexpected career assignment became the foundation for everything he does today.
