Episode 23: Martin Brodeur

InGoal Radio Presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports this week features the man many consider to be the best to ever play the position. Martin Brodeur won three Stanley Cups, Four Vezina Trophies, and more games than any goaltender in NHL history during his 22 seasons in the league. He joined us this week for nearly an hour while in Vancouver for the NHL Draft. Brodeur spoke to us at length about reading the game, his strengths, his mental preparation including breathing and visualization and much much more. He shares stories of learning to play the puck, and how he bested Ilya Kovalchuk in a shootout after his own pre-scout and how he saw Kovalchuk and his teammates acting on the bench amongst others.
