Today Pfizer and BioNTech announced that they have a vaccine that has a 90% efficacy! This is HUGE news for the market because it means that we are one step closer to being back to normal. The original guidance for the vaccine was to get one that was close to 60% or 70% efficacy but this shatters all expectations. With this news, the market rallied like crazy. Even though there was a lot of volatility in the market, a lot of investors were forced to sit on the side lines because most of the major brokerages had outages on this increased volume.
