Episode 23 - The Ring (w/Alison Lang)

Naomi Watts investigates an evil horse girl’s haunted VHS tape while under a very literal deadline in The Ring. Alison Lang, author of Women With Guts: Horror Heroines in Film, TV and Print (and also Tara’s former roommate) joins us to discuss Amber Tamblyn’s death face, bathtubs full of black goo, and everything J-horror (the J stands for journalism). Watch more horror movies with Alison at Toxic Femmes Films on Facebook. Box Office Bylines is a podcast about movies about journalism.
