Before that, he served as a Senior Financial Systems Auditor for the City of Atlanta, GA, and held roles in the finance departments of Aurora, CO, and Lehi, UT. Ty has been actively involved with the Brazos Valley Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors, serving as president, vice president, and board member. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP). He holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Brigham Young University.
