Episode 23: WandaVision Episodes 7 and 8

from Krypton To Alderaan · host KryptonToAlderaan

0:00 Intros and what we’re into 14:10 WandaVision We at Krypton to Alderaan believe it is important to shed light on bigotry and injustice and to actively participate against it. Recently, a Star Wars castmember was fired due to their ignorance and bigotry. In response, a group of great and wonderful Star Wars fans created a GoFundMe: Trans Rights Are Human Rights: This is the Way to benefit the Transgender Law Center. So far, they have raised over $20,000. To show support to the Trans community, Krypton to Alderaan has made a donation and we encourage anyone out there listening to do the same. To quote the GoFundMe page: “let’s flood the Star Wars community with support, love, and vibrance for all gender identities.” Episode 23: This episode we talk about episodes 7 and 8 of Marvel’s new Disney+ series, WandaVision. In episode 7, we get a great team-up in Vision and Darcy Lewis! And! We learn the Kathryn Hahn’s character Agnes the neighbor is none other than Agatha Harkness! Not only that, but we get the best mini theme song there’s ever been.* *This opinion does not necessarily reflect those of all Krypton to Alderaan hosts.  How do we feel about that reveal? Is it too late? Does it take away from the magnitude of Wanda’s grief as the catalyst of events? Interesting questions! In episode 8, we learn that maybe it wasn’t really Agatha all along… We get a deep dive into Wanda’s psyche and tragic past. She has had. It. Rough. Did she always have powers? Is this a retcon? Why is Agatha there? Is this emotionally powerful? Yes. Our answers to all these, and more! Tuen in! As usual, we have a surprise question - so stick around until the end! Thanks for listening! We would really like to know how people who are listening feel about the show so, if you could/want to, drop us a line @kryptonalderaan or at [email protected].
