Contest will open July 4th and end Labor Day (Sept 2nd) Plenty of time to get to know all 30 acts! You will vote for 3 artists! Not 2 not 1 but 3 and you will vote only once! If you don't follow these simple rules your vote will be disqualified. Be sure to pay attention to the instructions on each voting poll. Polls will be posted on FACEBOOK in MXTR group and Shackheads group (private..send request and Ill add you) and HALSHACK.COM website. Votes can be placed by email if you don't use Facebook! There will be a playlist available at Spotify called BATTLESHACK 5 contest show that will cover all these songs and you can dig into their profiles for further review if you wish.All this is explained in this show or will be explained in greater detail in future episodes. Some bands you may expect to see either have already competed in earlier contests or are too big to compete against unknown bands (i.e. Drowning Pool, Cavo, From Ashes to New, Nerv, The Dangerous Summer etc....) Each contest covers the last 2 years of artists. We pick the brightest examples and not the one hit wonders. We had at least 70 artists or more added to the roster in the last couple years since BattleShack 4!
