from Detox with Abi · host Abimbola Arawande
2 Corinth 10:3-5; 2 Timothy 1:14 It is alright to have feelings Probably everyone on earth has had feelings of sadness, loneliness and depression. However, the problem is allowing ourselves to keep dwelling on the causes of that negative feelings, and the negative destructive feelings. Atimes, you may not even be able to pinpoint the main reason why you feel sad, lonely or down. Good news is you have been given power over any depressing thoughts. First - try to identify the ‘why’ Why are you sad? Why are you lonely? Ask yourself 😊 Why do I feel sad, why do I feel lonely, why do I feel depressed? Once you can figure out the source- How can you solve that problem. Is it what you can put a stop to, immediately? Or will it take time? Do you need to communicate with someone? Talk to God about it His Spirit will lead you to a trusted family, friend or or someone that knows a specialist. While doing all you can from your own human self; always remind yourself that you are a supernatural being because Christ dwells in you. The Spirit of God lives in you. Hold on to the Word of God- “Guard [with greatest care] and keep unchanged, the treasure [that precious truth] which has been entrusted to you [that is, the good news about salvation through personal faith in Christ Jesus], through [the help of] the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.” 2 Timothy 1:14 AMP “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 KJV
