Episode 236 - Swiss Army Man

In case you needed any assurance that maverick distribution company A24 is killing it with high quality, original films, along comes 'Swiss Army Man.'  A dazzling comic adventure tale that is unlike anything you've ever seen, the film is the feature debut of 'DANIELS', a directing team previously responsible for music videos.  Their new film moves with the energy and emotion of music, spinning a spectacular, surreal yarn centered around Hank (Paul Dano) who is shipwrecked on a deserted island.  Washing up in the surf is a human corpse (Daniel Radcliffe), who becomes the best friend Hank has ever had.  To tell more of the plot would be spoilage.  One of the most lively and passionate episodes of In the Queue is the result of 'Swiss Army Man.'   You can download the podcast here by right-clicking on the hypertext link and choosing "save as", or you can use the convenient player attached to this post.
