While the mini-challenge was a delightfully mild Act One, much of our attention this week went to the blizzard of confounding decisions made on the runway, both from the queens and the judges. We also have much to say about WoW’s response to the JBC backlash on social media, where “standom” comes from, the importance of reading, CDR’s moment of appreciation for ball culture, and of course, the much welcomed presence of a familiar face, Michelle Visage.
