Based on Lost Moon: The Perilous Voyage of Apollo 13, a book by astronaut Jim Lovell and journalist Jeffrey Kluger, it tells the true story of the failed Apollo 13 lunar landing mission. Apollo 13 was a huge success on its release making over $355 million worldwide and was nominated for nine Oscars (winning for Best Film Editing and Best Sound) but did it win over Meg who doesn’t like films set in space and space jargon?
