Episode 24: Carlos Eduardo Silva shares a Waffle - October 2020

In this special episode, Claire, Ben, Becca and John had the chance to chat it up with Carlos Eduardo Silva who is the creator of Ponto Orlando and Ponto Miami - two Portuguese language online Florida content channels aimed at our Brazilian Disney-loving cousins. Carlos also hosts the regular weekly “After hours - Let’s Talk Disney” live Facebook and YouTube show on a Thursday night with his friends Jason Canapp (whom we interviewed back on show episode 15) from Here with the Magic and Collin Kendall from Guide4WDW. We had so much fun talking to Carlos - we covered all sorts of topics- from WDW to his previous trip to DLP, a very special Disney dinner party, and also Formula 1 racing, football (yes - Football, not soccer) and even some stellar music from the 1980’s that John particularly enjoyed. And of course - as is now traditional with our interviews, Carlos faced the GBMW Carousel of Questions! Despite being born thousands of miles away from the UK, we certainly found that there were more similarities in our love for Disney and connections with friends than there were differences. Some of us Wafflers are hoping to get over to WDW as soon as we are able to fly again and a Caipirinha (or 6) with Carlos is definitely on the list of priorities. We may even let the other 2 join us.
