Christopher Mahan is a Family and Teen Life Coach, youth and Family Leadership Speaker and the author of Parental Leadership: 7 Principles to Lead Your Teen in the Digital Age. After a 25-year career in the film and TV industry, Chris discovered his love of human behavior in 2011. In 2012 Chris began his BS in psychology with a concentration in child and adolescent development from Southern New Hampshire University. Chris co-founded Crazy 8 Freedom Inc., a non-profit organization to combat teen suicide in the Tampa Bay, Florida area from 2013 to 2014. Over the past 10 years, Chris has worked with several hundred young adults conducting over 6000 hours of his Empowerment to Employment workshops for ages 14-to 24. Chris teaches much-needed job readiness skills while assisting with emotional coping and self-advocacy skills, helping these young adults to become self-sufficient young adults in the workforce and life.
