Episode 24 - Forced, Coerced, Compelled Speech IS NOT Free Speech

Pat and Bob discuss the state of the First Amendment in the United States, which is under attack unlike any other time since the Bill of Rights was written. The value of CFFS training, coordinating, and organizing is discussed, with the goal of making needed changes at the local level all across America. As an example of the assault on free speech, the guys discuss the law professor who insisted that a United States senator declare that men can get pregnant, or be branded as a transphobe who is inflicting violence on trans people. Forced, coerced, or compelled speech is just as dangerous as suppressed, banned, and censored speech, and if a U.S. senator can be treated in such a manner, what chance to any of us have when we decide to use our own speech in public school or employment settings?
