Episode 24: Fun with Audio Animatronics

from Disney Philharpodcast Hosted by DisneyPhilharpodcast

Have you noticed, in WDW, you're actually surrounded by robots?? Well, in Disney World, they're affectionately known as "Audio Animatronics", and they have been responsible for entertaining park visitors every day since the opening of Disneyland in 1955. There are so many AA's in WDW, in fact, it would be easier to list the attractions which do NOT contain one of these talking/singing/dancing/joke-telling little characters. So join us as we get down to the wires of these little (and some very big) robots. Laura will discuss the history and inner-workings of AA's and Alison reminds everyone of some of the most memorable AA's around WDW. Also, during this episode, we host the 1st Annual Disney Philharpoddies, a very special award presentation for some very special robots. twitter/snapchat: @disphilharpod instagram/FB: @disneyphilharpodcast
