She is an expert in treating chronic autoimmune skin diseases and has extensive experience using phototherapy, systemic medications and biologics. She has authored several peer-reviewed journal articles, and lectured at professional meetings to talk about new advances in the treatment of chronic skin diseases. She previously served on the UCI School of Medicine faculty as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and the Director of Dermatology Clinical Research from 2010 until 2015. And now she is a clinical professor at Harbor University of California, Los Angeles.
