Hannah Benton, a UCF Writing & Rhetoric graduate who worked in the writing center, is here to clear up those misconceptions. Writing an Honors Undergraduate Thesis, “Fanfiction as a Reflection of Available Representation: A Critique on Mass Media,” and presenting it at Knights Write, UPenn’s National Research Conference, and the Conference on College Composition and Communication, instilled her with the confidence that has helped in pursuing her pedagogical interests.
