The Giver is an amazing classic that if you weren’t forced to read it in school, you probably should...like right now. This dystopian world Lois Lowry built is both haunting and intriguing at the same time. It will make you think….DEEP THOUGHTS! In all seriousness, this is a book you have to check out! It is a great reminder of what the world could be if we didn’t embrace our differences and express our emotions freely. Even if you did read this book when you were in school or as a kid, it’s one to check out again as an adult. Who knows, you just might discover it has an entirely different ending than you originally thought! *cough*opps*cough*Be warned, there will be SPOILERS ahead in this episode.
