Episode 242 - YawnyBlew Pt. 2

For the first time since 2023 we welcomed back songwriter and artist YawnyBlew to the podcast! Having gone through a lot of changes in life and his career since our first discussion it was nice to catch up with him about it all this week. After moving from L.A. back to his home in New York he described shifting away from his traditional role as a songwriter who primarily had written in songwriting camps for other artists. This transition allowed him to focus more on his own solo work with fellow collaborator amir resulting in their late 2024 offering “Bouncy ‘n’ Pretty”. He also described the project peaking interest in sync opportunities through a sync agency and how he aims to keep sync in mind moving forward in his song creation process. Having also recently begun work with Meta in the music and content sectors he discussed what the opportunity has meant to him by providing a chance to expand his views on how he can help and give back to other creative careers.
