Professor Gerald Steinberg is the founder and president of NGO Monitor. He is Professor Emeritus of political science and international relations at Bar Ilan University, where he taught for forty years. His research focuses on Middle East diplomacy and security, nuclear proliferation, and the politics of human rights and non-governmental organisations, an academic field that he pioneered 25 years ago.
