from Actual Anarchy Podcast - AnCap Movie Reviews from a Rothbardian Perspective · host Actual Anarchy
Nick White of the Statist Quo joins us to discuss the highly controversial, “American History X”. Nick is the producer and co-host of the Statist Quo, which can be found at www.thestatistquo.net, and also makes music that is featured on several popular podcasts which you can find at www.nickwhitenoise.com. Edward Norton gives a riveting performance as a former neo-nazi skinhead who tries to prevent his younger brother from going down the same wrong path that he did. Going to pull a wildcard for next week as we are still making arrangements and selecting a film….update, we landed on “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind” with our friend Mike C. Show notes: http://www.actualanarchy.com/247 Presented by www.ActualAnarchy.com Robert and I analyze popular movies from a Rothbardian/Anarcho-Capitalist perspective. We use movies as a starting point for people who may not be familiar with this way of thinking. Discussion of the plot and decisions that characters make in relation to morality and violations of the non-aggression principle are our bread and butter. We also will highlight and discuss any themes or lessons from Austrian Economics that we can glean from the film. The point is to show what anarchy actually is with instances that are presented in film. We publish at least once per week; and occasionally will do specials surrounding holidays or events (elections/olympics) and have guests. SUBSCRIBE, RATE AND REVIEW ON APPLE PODCASTS (or iTUNES)
