Episode 247: Hope (2026)
from Geeks Unleashed Hosted by Geeks Unleashed
Mark is joined by Karen from San Francisco for another episode of Geeks Unleashed! This week we dive into the latest movie news, including the Avengers: Endgame Encore and its new Avengers: Doomsday teases, Universal Pictures hitting a huge $5 billion milestone at the 2026 global box office, and Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil. For Geek of the Week, Karen takes us into the world of South Korean TV with recommendations including Moving, A Shop for Killers and Kingdom, while Mark has been watching Widows Bay Season One and Saoirse Ronan’s Bad Apples. Then it’s time for our main review: Hope (2026). We both had an absolute blast with this one and there’s a lot to love, even if some questionable CGI and that ending gave us a few things to argue about! Plus, we reveal next week’s movie… the infamous Green Lantern (2011). Wish us luck. You can follow us on X, Facebook and Instagram or if you would like to support us you can donate to our KoFi.
