Sarathi has a BA in Sociology from the University of Connecticut and a JD from University of Miami School of Law. By day, Sarathi serves as bond counsel and underwriters' counsel in a variety of public finance transactions. He also serves as the President of the world famous Marshall Chess Club, which Frank Marshall founded in 1915. The club on West 10th street in Greenwich Village hosts lots of competitive tournaments for players of all skill levels, lectures, social events and more. We speak about tax exempt bonds, the intersection of chess and litigation, the UCONN Chess club,  kids versus adults in chess, chess therapy for autism, inspiration for women to play chess, improvement tips and more.
