This episode features Damian Mason, host of The Business of Agriculture comes on to talk about why Daylight Savings Time really doesn't have many benefits for agriculture and why year-round DST may actually be more harmful. We then transition into discussing water issues and he offers strong opinions on why #corn is becoming less viable in the High Plains region and how the push for year-round ethanol is only going to make the transition to other less water intense crops more difficult. We also briefly discuss why high property taxes in NE may also be hindering transition to other crops.
