Episode 25: Be Charged Up

(John 15:5) Whilst getting ready for work, I discovered that my phone battery was almost drained. Interestingly the charger was plugged on the socket by my bedside but completely forgot to charge the phone and would find it challenging in completing most of my to-do-list of contacting clients if I do not take time to charge it before leaving home. Our lives can be likened to the phone and the charger connected to the socket can be likened to the Holy Spirit. God is always available to get us charged up! However, He is a gentle Spirit. He will not force Himself on us although He desires to connect to and with us so His power and virtue can flow through us as John 15:5 states ““I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless.” ‭‭John‬ ‭15:5‬ ‭TPT‬‬ Be intentional about getting connected with God by spending time with Him. Make it an habit to study His Word, being quiet in His presence and listening to Him to speak to you so you can think and talk like Him. Let us pray Thank You Lord for Your Word. Help me Lord to abide in you so I can bear fruits that my will abide. In Jesus’ name, amen.
