Episode 25: Boo Williams (New Orleans Saints / Gridiron Cannabis Coalition / Black Ghost Enterprises)

from Blazin With Bobby Black · host Cannabis Radio

After leaving the NFL due to injuries, former New Orleans Saints tight end Boo Williams grew so depressed and disillusioned that he ultimately attempted suicide. But thanks to a brief stint in a recovery center—and with the help of cannabis—his life has made a 180 degree turn. Now, Boo devotes his life to helping others: he’s founded the Athletes Wellness Institute to assist other suffering players and educate them about the healing power of cannabis, as well as his own medical marijuana products BooBeary Kares under the brand BlackGhost Enterprises. On this week’s episode, Boo speaks about his efforts to change the NFL’s policy toward pot and how it helped save his life.
