Episode 25: Celebrating 125 Years of the Wilson College of Textiles

NC State’s Wilson College of Textiles is one of the most prestigious colleges of its kind in the world — and the only one of its kind still operating in the Western Hemisphere. Much of that success comes from connecting thoughtful donors with funds that reflect their passions while also supporting college priorities. A transformative $28 million gift from the Fred Wilson family in 2018 was especially impactful, leading to NC State’s second named college. “Family” is a recurring theme in the Wilson College of Textiles, whether it’s gratitude toward the Wilsons or the sense of belonging that students and alumni all share.
