Episode 25: Christian Assad

from Low Carb MD Podcast · host The Low Carb MD Podcast

This is a great episode!  Join us as we learn from cardiologist Dr. Christian Assad.  Dr. Assad shares his story of how he overcame chronic migraines and weight gain with lifestyle modification including a low carb diet.  Hear how he is using this knowledge to help his patients and community in Mcallen, Texas which is in the top 3 most obese cities in the US.  Dr. Assad is on the front lines changing lives in the Latino community and educating the people who need it the most.  He is also merging technology and medicine to provide community and education for his patients.  He is teaching people how to be healthier while staying true to cultural traditions. He is also challenging the standard paradigm in the treatment of congestive heart failure and other cardiovascular diseases. This is another "Must Listen" episode and we know that hearing from Dr. Assad will impact you and we are honored to have him join us. He is one of the smartest (and nicest) docs we have interviewed.  Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/christianassadmd Twitter @ChristianAssad Instagram @MedHacker Blog HTTP://Medhacker.comacebook Page https://www.facebook.com/christianassadmd Twitter @ChristianAssad Instagram @MedHacker Blog HTTP://Medhacker.com
