Episode 25: Matthew Marsden

Episode 25 of Probably Cancelled Podcast is what happens when three semi-professional troublemakers sit down with a guy who’s actually done cool stuff. This week, Jack Savage Derek Holland and Brady Matthews welcome actor, writer, singer, and fellow podcaster Matthew Marsden—a man who has survived Hollywood, war movies, and (most impressively) the internet. You’ve seen Matthew in Black Hawk Down and Transformers, but in this episode you’ll see the side Hollywood doesn’t put in the trailer. We dive into his documentary Finding Noah, and how he got cancelled during Covid. Matthew brings the perspective of a guy who’s been inside the machine—and isn’t afraid to critique it. Jack tries to keep things profound. Brady tries to keep things off the rails. And Derek just wants to know: Did you find the Ark? No one fully succeeds. Well, Brady might've. It’s thoughtful. It’s unfiltered. It’s occasionally dangerous to your group chat. If you’ve ever wondered what happens when faith, fame, free speech, and Michael Bay explosions collide—this episode delivers. Watch the whole thing. If we’re getting cancelled, we’re at least doing it with a guy who’s survived actual helicopters.
