Neander-Jin: Return of the Neanderthal Man (2011) is an obscure and inexplicable “romantic comedy” about a Neanderthal who somehow travels trough time and falls in love with a young professional woman, but ultimately becomes corrupted by commercialism and fame. What do Japanese culture, German Unity Day, and gummy bears have to do with Neanderthals? Nothing, but yet they are all in this movie for some reason.
