Episode 25 - The Saviour of the World

Welcome back to Daily Growth Point, I’m Pastor John Bingham.A simple reading of God’s Word yields the understanding that Jesus Christ is God. If you will imagine that as God, He enjoyed the pleasures and joy of Heaven in eternity past. Yet, despite all of those pleasures, Christ humbled himself and came to the earth so that He could be the Saviour of the World. 1 John says, “…the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.” When Christ entered into the world, His coming was to bring us out of darkness and into His glorious light. Christ became the substitute for our sin and He died in our place. It is God’s gift to mankind. Like any gift, you must receive it personally to realize the great benefits of it. God died to be your Saviour. Will you receive this great gift today?
