Episode 250 - Build on the Rock

One of the most famous buildings in the world is the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Construction began in 1173, but before it was completed, it began to lean. The problem wasn't the tower itself. The problem was the foundation beneath it.Jesus taught the same principle in Matthew 7:24-25 when He said, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock.” When the storms came, that house stood firm because it was built on the right foundation.Life brings storms to every person. Difficulties, disappointments, and uncertainty are unavoidable. The difference is not the storm, but the foundation beneath us.When your life is built upon Jesus Christ and guided by His Word, you have a foundation that will not fail when the winds begin to blow.Today, make sure you are building on the Rock.
