Episode 250 - Do we walk in solidarity with each other?

In the baptism of the Lord we see the heavens torn open and God speaking “You are my beloved in whom I am well pleased”, we see the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove, and we see Jesus walking out of the waters. Jesus didn’t need to be baptized, but in this act of humility he let us know that he walks in solidarity with us who are sinners. He is, in this emergence from the Jordan, inviting us to a life in the Trinity.
