Episode 251: "Freedom"

from Learn For 2 Podcast · host Brandon DeVere

Today as we celebrate our freedom here in the U.S. I think about the reason most of us got into the real estate industry. Most of us got into the industry to have freedom. Freedom in our careers. Freedom in our personal lives. Freedom to do what we want to do, when we want to do it. Freedom to work on and in our business how we see fit. Freedom to make as much money as we want. But as we have worked so hard for this freedom, how many of us have actually found it. Are you still bound to work with whatever clients you get because you can’t afford NOT to work with them? Are you stuck at your brokerage because they provide you leads and you haven’t learned how to generate your own? Are you stuck at your brokerage because you think you are getting 100% of your commissions? Is your growth limited geographical by the chains of an OLD and OUTDATED model? Think back to when you entered the real estate industry… Was freedom a part of your business plan? Is it still? If so, how close are you to achieving it? If not, how come?
