Episode 252: God Is Still In The Rejuvenating Business

God bless, love. I was tidying up clothes in the wardrobe when I discovered one a ‘thank you’ note given to me by one of my previous colleagues on the 26th of Aug, 2016. I smiled😊 I actually giggled when I read it over and over again 🤭 The note was uplifting! That encouraging note brings me to the story of Elijah Elijah has had enough of running! He was running from Jezebel- king Ahab’s wife, who was determined to kill him because of his good deeds and works for the Lord. He destroyed all the false prophets of Baal when he challenged king Ahab and his false prophets to a miraculous demonstration. Elijah ran for his dear life! He took off to the wilderness! He was discouraged and downcast and wished he might die. He slept off under a juniper tree! Then an angel touched him and gave him something to eat and drink twice. He slept off! The Bible states in I kings 19:14 that he went in the strength of the meal for forty days and forth nights. Right there in God’s presence, he received encouragement. His assignment was jumpstarted as well. God assigned his next assignment to him. In Kings 19:15-17 Perhaps you feel discouraged for one reason or the other, ‘just want to encourage you and remind you that God sees you. He feels what you feel. God is still in the rejuvenating business. As He sent His angels to strengthen and reassure Elijah of His abiding and manifest presence, so He does in the 21st century. As Hebrews 1:14 states- God’s angels are spirit-messengers, minister, sent by God to serve God’s people. “What role then, do the angels have? The angels are spirit-messengers sent by God to serve those who are going to be saved.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1:14‬ ‭TPT‬‬ Let us pray Father I pray for my friends today. Help them to see in You the ever abiding and manifest Presence they need in their valley moment and also in their mountain moments. In Jesus’ name, amen.
