Episode 253 - Building with Wisdom

Before a single yard of concrete was poured for the Hoover Dam, years were spent surveying the land, studying the river, and designing the structure. Engineers understood that careful planning would determine whether the dam stood strong for generations or failed under pressure.The Bible teaches a similar principle. Proverbs 24:3 says, “Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established.” Wise decisions rarely happen by accident. They come from seeking God's direction before taking action.Many of life's greatest difficulties can be traced back to decisions made without prayer, counsel, or careful thought. Wisdom does not guarantee an easy life, but it often prevents unnecessary hardship.Before making an important decision, take time to seek the Lord. A few moments of godly wisdom today can save years of regret tomorrow.
