Episode 253 - Trxy!

On this episode of the podcast, I sit down with Trxy!, an 18 year old Virginia based artist blending shoegaze textures with nu metal weight in a way that feels both nostalgic and forward thinking. Even at a young age, he is locked in on what his sound is and where he wants to take it, and that clarity really shows in the music. We spend a lot of time digging into his new album Drowning in Bliss, breaking down the themes behind it and how the project serves as both an introduction and a statement. Trxy talks about using music as a release, a form of therapy, and a way to process emotion through both sound and storytelling. It is a thoughtful conversation about identity, growth, and finding your voice early while still allowing room to evolve. If you are into genre bending heavy music with real emotional depth, this is one you will want to check out.
