He was also a co-creator of the Hulu series, "Woke", which was partially based on his life. His cartoons have won many awards, including a Comic- Con Inkpot Award for Career Achievement in Comics and a Harvey Award for Best Comic Strip.He is currently working on developing one of his cartoons, "One Black Kid" as an animated short.
