Children of Men shows a world, technically the future as its 2027, where for 18 years mankind has ceased to have children. Most of the world has collapsed, but Britain apparently soldiers on. In this world, Clive Owens plays Theo, a boring government employee with a secret politically radical past, who just wants to cynically go about his day in a dying world. When his estranged Activist wife Julian, (Julianne Moore), shows up as leader of the Pro-Immigrant Rights group the Fishes asking for his help getting a very special refugee to the coast.
