"High blood pressure adds about 20 to 25% increased risk of you dying. High blood pressure. Type two diabetes is about 30%. Maybe a little bit more smoking. If you're a smoker, you have a 50% increase in dying early. Okay, serious numbers. Let me compare those to something you've never had your doctor talk to you about. We talk to you about strength and VO2 max. If you're weak, meaning you have low muscular strength and you're losing your strength as you age, you're carrying a 250% higher risk of death, 250%."
